Looe	Summary of Cornwall Find fishing in Cornwall

Looe is located in south east Cornwall, and is a small fishing port and coastal town. It is comprised of East Looe and West Looe, and connected by a bridge across the River Looe. East Looe offers a sandy beach (and most of the shops and restaurants), whereas the other side of the harbour, West Looe, offers a stonier beach. Heading west from West Looe there is also an excellent (in my opinion) coastal walk to Polperro. Looe also has an island off it’s shores, St George’s Island (otherwise known as Looe Island). Looe is a tourism focused coastal town, offering visitors a variety of holiday accommodation, restaurants, pubs, etc. The nearest city to Looe is Plymouth.
